Privacy Policy

Last updated August 23, 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your information

waterheaterrepairpflugerville.com (“this site”) is operated by E-Brands Unlimited LLC, a Texas entity (“we,” “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We are a consumer water heater resource. We are not a plumbing contractor and we do not perform plumbing work. When you call the number on this site, you are connected with an independent local plumbing contractor who schedules and performs the service.

2. Calls to this site are recorded

Telephone calls placed to the number displayed on this site are recorded and stored. Recording begins when the call connects. If you do not wish to be recorded, do not use the number on this site — you can reach a licensed plumber through any other channel you prefer.

Recordings are made through our call-tracking and call-recording provider and are used to verify that a call took place, to confirm the referral, to resolve disputes about what was said, and to review the quality of the service conversation.

You may request deletion of a recording of your own call using the process in section 7.

3. What we collect

Information you give us by calling

When you call the number on this site, we receive:

  • Your telephone number, unless you have withheld it
  • The date, time and duration of the call
  • An audio recording of the call, as described in section 2
  • Anything you say during the call — commonly your name, service address, a description of the problem, and the age and type of your water heater

There are no forms on this site. No contact form, no quote request, no newsletter, no accounts. Calling is the only way to reach a contractor through this site.

Information collected automatically when you browse

  • IP address, and the approximate city or region derived from it
  • Device type, operating system, browser and screen size
  • Pages viewed, time on page, and the order in which pages were visited
  • The site or search that referred you
  • An event named phone_call_click, recorded when you tap a phone link, along with which page and which button it was
  • Cookies and similar identifiers, as described in section 6

Advertising identifiers

This site loads advertising technology from advertising platforms. These tools set cookies and collect online identifiers so that advertising can be measured and directed at people whose browsing suggests they may need this service.

4. Why we collect it

  • To connect you with a plumbing contractor serving Pflugerville
  • To confirm that a referral occurred and that we are paid correctly for it
  • To understand which pages help people and which produce phone calls
  • To measure and target advertising
  • To comply with law and to establish or defend legal claims

5. How we share and sell your information

The plumbing contractor — this is a sale of personal data

When you call, your phone number and the details you provide are passed to an independent plumbing contractor so they can schedule a visit. We receive compensation for that referral.

The contractor is not acting on our behalf and is not restricted by contract in how they use your information. They decide independently how to use it, they may retain it, and they may market to you afterwards under their own privacy policy, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

Because we transfer your personal data to a third party for monetary consideration, and because that third party uses it for its own purposes, this transfer is a “sale” of personal data as that term is defined under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and comparable state laws. We say so plainly because it is true, and because many sites in this industry claim otherwise.

You can opt out. See section 8. Opting out means we will not pass your information to a contractor — which also means we cannot arrange service for you.

Advertising partners — targeted advertising

We share online identifiers and browsing activity with advertising platforms to measure advertising and to serve ads to people who have visited this site or resemble those who have. Under Texas law this is targeted advertising, and you may opt out of it. See section 8.

Vendors acting on our behalf

The following handle data in order to run this site on our behalf:

  • our call-tracking and call-recording provider — call routing, call records and recordings
  • our analytics provider — site analytics
  • our hosting and content-delivery provider — hosting and security logging

Legal and safety

We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or court order, to enforce our terms, or to investigate suspected fraud or a threat to someone’s safety. If this business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

What we never do

  • We do not sell or share sensitive personal data as defined by Texas law
  • We do not sell your information to data brokers or list aggregators
  • We do not add callers to our own marketing lists

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site sets and reads:

  • Analytics cookies — distinguish new visits from returning ones and record how the site is used
  • Advertising cookies and pixels — set by to measure and target advertising

This site does not display a cookie consent banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a privacy-focused browser or extension, or use the opt-out routes in section 8. The site works normally with cookies blocked.

7. Your privacy rights

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal data, and access it
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
  • Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you
  • Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format, where processing is carried out by automated means
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal data
  • Opt out of processing for targeted advertising
  • Opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects

How to make a request

Email ascendwebmedia@gmail.com with the phone number you called from. We may need to verify that the request is yours — usually by confirming the number you called from — and we will not use that information for anything else.

We respond within 45 days. Where reasonably necessary we may extend once by a further 45 days, and we will tell you if we do. You may make a free request twice in any twelve-month period.

If we refuse

We will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to that decision or emailing us again with the word “appeal”. We will decide the appeal in writing within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

Residents of other states

This site can be reached from anywhere. If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law, we will honour requests of the kinds listed above on the same terms, regardless of where you live. Use the same contact route.

8. Opting out of sale and targeted advertising

You have three routes, and you do not have to explain yourself:

  1. Email us. Send “opt out” to ascendwebmedia@gmail.com with the phone number you called from. We will stop passing that number to a contractor, and we will ask the contractor to delete what they already have — though we cannot compel them.
  2. Do not call the number on this site. Nothing is passed to a contractor unless you call. Reading this site does not put you in touch with anyone.
  3. Block the trackers in your browser. Advertising and analytics cookies can be blocked with browser settings or a privacy extension, which stops the identifiers in section 3 from being collected. The site works normally either way.

You can also opt out of advertising personalisation directly with the platforms, using the ad-settings controls each of them provides.

9. Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to call records is limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This site is intended for adult homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

We link to utilities, government agencies and standards bodies where it helps you verify something. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes — a new category of data, a new recipient, a new purpose — will be described here rather than made silently.
